US CHART POSITION #184 Ocean Rain - UK CHART POSITION #4 . . . US CHART POSITION #87 Songs To Learn & Sing - UK CHART POSITION #6 . . . US CHART POSITION #158 Echo & The Bunnymen (grey album) - UK CHART POSITION #4 . . . US CHART POSITION #51 This seems to coincide with some remarks on the VH1 site: "(Ocean Rain) became the Bunnymen's first album to chart in the U.S. Top 100" and "(the) self-titled album... Echo & the Bunnymen became their biggest American hit, peaking at number 51" This is just for albums. Judging by those US numbers I don't think that the singles fared very well if they charted at all. The two exceptions may be "Bring On The Dancing Horses" and Lips Like Sugar". Candleland reached #18 in the UK and #159 in the US according to VH1 and everyhit.com Definitely a UK band that never broke America.
