I beliveve it was a 2-date US tour, Boston and NY? They played Heroin by the velvets, I think. It's all a fog . . . I think I hadda sneak in thru the backdoor (not the last time that's happened, heh) to get in, being all of 15 (years, that is.) And 18 years later I wrote the bio from directly across the street from that club. This was virtually pre-MTV shit, when, if ya wanted Underground, ya hadda walk around with a shovel. Which required a little effort, a little investigation, a little curiosity, and, frankly, weirdness and disenfrachisement. Exactly what you DON"T need to dig the new breed.
