I know that the majority of americans never leave the US. I would suggest visiting Europe. England is a great country with Yorkshire being very picturesque especially Haworth, Robin Hood's Bay, Richmond. Liverpool is great with the Tate art gallery, three graces (Liverbird Buildings), the Cavern (which is a replica of the original), Beatles & Bunnymen fans would love it. Where I live has also fantastic scenary which I've mentioned previously. Ireland is worth visiting in the south Dublin (the four courts, Dublin castle, O'Donaghues pub, Guiness factory) and in the north Belfast is an up & coming area. If I had money I'd invest in the north of Ireland especially the dockland area where the Titanic was built. Belfast is a beautiful city also there is a lot of history - I managed to take some photos of the murals which is a distinct reminder of the past on both sides of the divide. I have visited Prague & Paris in recent years - both fantastic cities. someone mentioned art there is a great Salvidor Dali museum near Montmatre. I been outside Europe to Sri Lanka & China but would really recommend seeing the UK. Jonathan P. Sweeney. Ps I just thought it would be cool for people to watch the Bunnymen & have a holiday. ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info * http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ * http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * http://www.softskull.com/detailedbook.php?isbn=1-887128-89-6 * http://www.neonhalos.blogspot.com ====================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 06 Apr 2005 15:43:07 -0400 From: Red Subject: Re: seven-seas Lancaster, PA I dunno about the Chameleon Club....I've never been there, but I do know that you can email them and they will get back to you...I knew a few people that have asked them questions and they did get replies. Try that.... I know there's a balcony at the TLA, but most times I've been there it was off limits. They use it a lot for VIP etc. I wish I could be of more help. I took a trip to Ireland back in college in the summer of '89 and it was the best vacation I ever had. We did it the right way too, because my brother was living in a VW Bus at the time and driving it all over Europe, so we met him over there and circled the country at our own pace staying at Hostels and B & B's. I took over driving duties because I was the only one who could remember to stay on the wrong side of the road. It was fantastic though, and I don't know why I haven't gone back. My only regret about the vacation was that I didn't have more time and get a chance to see England as well, but I swore I would go back and not only see Ireland again, but this time I'd see England. Man, that was 16 years ago. I still haven't been over the border since. Hopefully in the next year or two, we'll be able to make the trip. My wife and I keep talking about it, she's never been there at all, so it will be a lot of fun to take her.
