One of my friends has got tickets and he's taking his wife & children. I think they'll be quite chuffed that the Bunnymen are playing. I've already got tickets for the Larmer Tree Festival & our finances wouldn't have stretched! The Larmer Tree festival has a band called Flipron playing who are friends of my wife. I would recommend anyone looking at there web site. They're album "Fancy Blues and Rustique Novelties" is really good. The music is quite hard to describe - lyrics are surreal and they sound like the Bluetones meet the Coral. I went to an open mic night in salisbury last night at the "Winchester Gate" it was really cool. If anyone lives in the Salisbury area it's worth going to! There was a women called Mel who sang like an angel and did one of her own songs "Jacob's ladder Bay" and a Pixies song (acoustic). She was very talented! A friend of mine Russell also played. I'll have to practice on my guitar & take it along but my wife says I shouldn't subject anyone to my singing. I spent the whole afternoon in salisbury chilling out in the back garden playing guitar digging out Beatles, Oasis tab books & just messing around. anyway, HOPE you all enjoy the Bunnymen at Glastonbury! But the concert and the meet-up were a lot of fun. Lots of cool, interesting folks at the meet-up -- except that the townies in that seedy gin mill were looking at us like we were a bunch of freaks. Oh, wait, we were ;) You did buy your 25th Anniversary hoodie that night, as I recall ...
