But to people who haven't heard much of the Bunnymen I'd probably pick those two songs as all time classics. I love "Angels and Devils" and would love to hear that live. "Villiers Terrace" and "Pictures on my wall" are brilliant tracks which paint a picture in your mind. "Higher Hell" is also a brilliant track. I would like to hear an acoustic session. I remember watching a "celebration" programme on Granada (ITV) called "Echoes of the Bunnymen" (I've got it taped somewhere) and McCulloch played acoustic guitar on Leonard Cohen's "Lover, Lover, Lover" and "Killing moon". I think re inventing great songs live by using different effects pedals or perhaps using a keyboard is always interesting. Anway, you can always agree to disagree, Jon Sweeney. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rafael Guimarces" To: Sent: Thursday, March 17, 2005 9:07 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas Re: xfm > well...there's a diference in between a classic track and a "one hit > wonder" kinda song... > and there's no need to argue about the value of tracks like NLF and > killing moon, but... > if i wasnt a bunny fan i would think that the bunnymens are "one hit > wonders" ...
