I'm sort of on and off this list however, so I'm not quite sure. What's the deal with Les? I suppose he's pretty much permanently not a part of the band anymore? I think they have a guy named Alex Gleave playing at this point. Being a bass player myself, I'm always wondering what's up. Or, maybe its just that I would love to have the job myself! he he. ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info * http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ * http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Dec 2004 12:46:09 -0600 (CST) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: seven-seas John Peel tribute on Radio One tonight In just a few mins, 7 pm GMT (11 am - 2 pm in the US). Also, I think this is a hoot: if you are in the UK you can give out a "flirt divert" number to anyone hitting on you at a party you'd rather not deal with. It's: 0777 4598750 Of course, no US equivalent ;-) but I wish there were! ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info * http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ * http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Dec 2004 13:54:13 -0500 From: RossNTeka@aol.com Subject: Re: seven-seas New Bunnymen Album Per an interview with Will, Les left around the time of WAYGTDWYL. Will and Les were both frustrated with the process and had little input. Will stayed and Les, ultimately, left. I miss him, too. Thanks. I remember reading some quote from the time Evergreen came out where Mac said that Les was something of a buffer between him and Will. Les has a different style of playing that I miss on the newer and live stuff. : ( > From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org > Reply-To: seven-seas@smoe.org > Date: Thu, 16 Dec 2004 13:54:13 -0500 > To: seven-seas@smoe.org > Subject: Re: seven-seas New Bunnymen Album > > Per an interview with Will, Les left around the time of WAYGTDWYL. > > Will and Les were both frustrated with the process and had little input.
