Band-Aid 20 > wher can I hear this monstrosity? Peer-to-peer land at the moment; I don't know if it's actually been released but don't think so. It's been "premiered" on the radio in the UK. There's only one member, so far as I know, from the original group. He's one of Chris Adams' favourites ;-) in a reprise role. ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info * http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ * http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Nov 2004 13:47:53 -0500 From: Rob Maher Subject: Re: OT seven-seas November Spawned A Monster > if everything is supposed to be > privatised, and individuals can make better decisions than the government > (according to the Republicans) I want all my tax money back to decide > whether it goes for war or hunger or education or whatever. You've got a good point there. I think our government has already gone far beyond what we originally were upset at King George about, that's for sure. ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info * http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ * http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Nov 2004 13:05:54 -0600 From: "Ted Turner" Subject: RE: OT seven-seas November Spawned A Monster its far from perfect up here....(waiting lists etc)...but we ultimately receive the health care we need...and urgent care is handled quite well as a rule......& we are surely paying far less per person to receive this care...than it costs to run an army at war.."culture of life" i suppose...... it was a major election issue here too....up here we feel its a right and we demand shorter waiting lists etc.....& things are improving on that front....i dunno what I would do without it.....me & most of the people I know would be tens of thousands of dollars in debt to hospitals etc without it...i really cant imagine life without it. You guys should head on up...sure it gets a little cold (ask Adams!), but its worth it, pop by anytime. That was an issue in this campaign. Depending on which party you listen to, a public health plan is either going to save the health care system and leave no one behind(democrats) or it will be the beginning of the end of American life as we know it(republicans). I personally don't know what to think, because as much as the current system stinks, and is getting worse all the time, I'm also not sure I really am all that excited about the government handling it either, since they can't seem to handle much else all that well to begin with. So, since you are north of the border let me ask you, how does it work? Based what you said, it sounds pretty positive.
