One of the things I found interesting is that Bono, in talking about the new album said "it is one of our two best albums, right up there with Achtung Baby", I realized he feels that Achtung Baby is their best album. I'm something of a U2 fan as well, and I think I was a little surprised by that. Its a good album and all, but not my favorite certainly. Now, I also find it interesting that Mac praised it as well. I do know that I will feel less comfortable travelling abroad now that the fool's been elected a second time. Impersonating a Canadian has never looked so good. I remember reading somewhere recently that only 19% of Americans own passports. That pretty much says it all. For the first time ever I wish I could prove a connection back to Ireland and get an Irish passport. I can prove easily back to England, Scotland, and Wales, but an Irish connection is so far back that I can't. I have proven a friend (British)'s connection and he could get a passport tomorrow. I do not think my ancestors came to this country even dreaming of their descendants living under a corrupt theocracy. That's why they LEFT. ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info * http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ * http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V3 #442 ********************************
