Who'da thunk my two years of studying Czech in college would ever come in handy? Now that Scotland's independent, any chance that they're handing out dual citizenships to the Diaspora? England. Obviously. ;) I've got over a year of expatriation under my belt now and I'm willing to personally help anyone wishing to flee as much as I can. I sent off my absentee ballot weeks ago, but if W. wins and I was still over there, I'd be long gone too, Chris.... If England isn't in the cards, I love Ireland. And Scotland is lovely too - Glasgow is quite the new music hotspot. And Italy, but my rudimentary grasp of the language wasn't enough to get me through a weekend, let alone an indefinite stay.... Prague? I hear everyone speaks English there and it's meant to be lovely and cheap. That's cool. I think. I'm not a big Eagles fan, but that reminds me of a funny story I heard Don Henley tell about going into a convenience store in the middle of the night and the muzak version of "Hotel California" was playing in the store. He said sarcastically, "You haven't lived till you've heard your song done by muzak while your looking through the freezer section at 3 in the morning". > From: Asger Sxrensen > Reply-To: seven-seas@smoe.org > Date: Tue, 2 Nov 2004 20:15:56 +0100 > To: > Subject: seven-seas Wierd, a very seldom experience > > Wauw!!!
