(Note: there are a few exceptions to this rule--8-Eyed Spy, for example--but as a general rule of thumb, best to avoid bands that utilize any numerology in their chosen title.) I like a few 10,000 Maniacs song, thank you very much. Should we incllude Ben Folds Five in your list? Gang Of Four? > Best band name ever? There's a lotta choices, but at the moment I'm leaning towards "...and you will know us by the trail of dead." Oh, and a nonexistent Brian Jonestown Massacre covers band called "The Charlie Watts Riots." And two other imaginary groups, one called "Lady Godiva's Chocolate Saddle" and the other, "The Keil-Bossa-Nova Mob." We just call the first group "Trail'o'Dead" around here, can't be bothered to say it all. I really ought to catch them live considering they are local and friends with other bands I like. But maybe they make better friends than musicians. Tomorrow: Morrissey. IF he decides to turn up, which I very much hope he does cos I've never seen him and never saw The Smiths. ============================ Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info * http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ ============================ ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V3 #410 ********************************
