If we learned anything from Vietnam, it was to have a clear entry plan, objectives, and criteria for leaving, as well as the means to implement everything. Otherwise it's chaos all over again with many on both sides dead. Just as he did not have clear justification for going in, even if attacking Iraq was a "better" choice than the choice to attack Vietnam, Bush didn't have a clear plan on how to execute the war and withdrawal. You're right, it's a huge mess. But I do not trust the same man who got us into the mess to get us out. No, we cannot just leave tomorrow, but the way in which we do end the war will stay with us for generations, just as Vietnam has done. And that is not a pretty legacy. Hey folks, unlike the 2000 election, I think the people in the UK DO have a much more vested interest in the outcome because the UK is in the war with us. And in retrospect? I wish the world had paid more attention to the 2000 campaigns and election than they did. Perhaps things would be different today. - ---------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through jkm.NET secure webmail server ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 04 Sep 2004 19:49:36 +0000 From: "Dawn Wolfe" Subject: seven-seas Converting RAM to WAV Can any of you smart people tell me how to convert RAM files to WAV format so that I can burn them onto a CD?
