Glad to be amongst you all as you all are so very knowledgable! I heard their cover of the Beatles' *Ticket to ride* this morning on the radio and i MUST have it..does anyone know where I can get it? At the time Jake and friends (from Liverpool, she said, although she couldn't identify them - definitely not Will, though, as she has seen the bunnies numerous times). Her man is a professional wildlife cinematographer (that is how they know Jake, who, as has been discussed before, is now a sound recordist for wildlife programmes) and was taking photographs which they promised to send me. I will try and identify the musicians. The party was a very mellow 'do' in a field! Congratulations Jake! Cheers Jim - --------------------------------- ALL-NEW Yahoo! He was on tv the other night (on Mary Ann Hobb's show) and he said he had toured with the Bunnymen. He is now tour manager for Queen's of the Stone Age and The Distillers!!! I remember him on the Swedish TV thing the Bunnies did, he had the Bowie Ziggy flash across his face. Who was he? Was he just a friend of the band or did he have a 'role' to play?? Hhmmm...wonder why he wouldn't have gone? He told us about Jake's wedding on fotolog! :-) Red ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Aug 2004 07:34:00 -0400 From: Red Subject: Re: seven-seas Boots At 10:18 AM 8/30/04 +0100, you wrote: >I have vinyl boot called "Over The Wall" that is suppose to originate from >Tokyo (18-Jan-1984) ; I suspect it's the same show. > >Over The Wall // Back Of Love // Stars Are Stars // The Killing Moon // >Monkeys // The Cutter // Never Stop // Crocodiles // All My Colours // Ripeness The songs aren't the same. New Horizon has: (side A) over the wall stars are stars the killing moon the cutter (side B) all that jazz never stop thorn of crowns crocodiles But they still may be from the same show. It only says January 1984. Would they have played more than one date in Tokyo? Probably not. Dunno why people mess up the order of tracks when they record a boot. I'd rather hear it the way it was played, myself!
