I've listened to the remaster and while I do think it is a vast improvement over the "original" the songs lack life. Someone told me that this album was recorded during the time that the royalty wars were going on -- that Mac was trying to cut Pete out of songwriting credits etc. and that Pete's heart just wasn't in the album. The story certainly is not disproved by the drumming on the album, save "Lips" which all knew was going to be a single. A friend of mine and also long-time Bunnyfan simultaneously named our least favourite Bunnysong: "Bombers Bay." That was a bit eerie! It was absolutely awesome driving around England with the Buns on the car stereo (which for a change did not suck completely but cranked out some bass). ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Aug 2004 23:44:37 -0700 From: "MCH" Subject: Re: seven-seas Some Grey Glory > on in that song.
