Sattelite rocks. The rest is empty overdone candyshite. It's a bad record. The only truly crap thing the Buns ever did. 25 years. yr alowed one. That said, I played Porcupine for the first time in 5 years today. Godlike. Fucking strange and twisted but still classic. - -C Adams Rob Maher wrote: You know, the funny thing about the '87 album is that even though we all seem to agree its the worst one, we all have a couple of different "gems" that we really like. It was the first Bunnymen album I bought, and I always liked it. Of course, I didn't know any better! Once I got into the earlier stuff, it lost some luster, but like all the other responders on here, there will always be quite a few tunes off that album (Bomber's Bay, Over You, Lips of course) that'll stick with me. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Rob Maher Sent: Monday, August 09, 2004 5:01 PM To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: Re: seven-seas 1987 Album You know, the funny thing about the '87 album is that even though we all seem to agree its the worst one, we all have a couple of different "gems" that we really like. It's pretty much played out for me. And I don't often get the chance or time to play albums all the way through. But I was travelling the other day (moved back to Boston from DC), so I had the opp. Loved every second. BTW: if yr gonna visit DC--don't. Shit town. A city with a suburb mentality.
