Please e-mail me off-list at: smokinashpw@yahoo.com Thanks, Paul U.S.A. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Jul 2004 01:34:42 -0300 From: "Carlos Coelho" Subject: seven-seas Ian McCulloch in Brazil Hi everyone, As many of you might know, Ian is playing his solo set in Brazil this week. On the 22nd he will be playing Sao Paulo and I will be there. Just as I did with the November 18th Echo gig, I will try to record this concert too, with my minidisc and cardioid mics. Hope it works. If it does, I will make it available to the list, just as I have done before with the other concert. Btw, if you didn't catch the CD cover for the Echo in Brazil Cd, download it at www.carloscoelho.com/echo.pdf If you didn't get your copy of the double CD, ,just drop me a line and I will make you one. Write at carlos.a.coelho@uol.com.br. This week the newspapers here have written about what this coming concert will be like, since Ian will be playing with brazilian guests on stage, such as Leo Jaime (for Sao Paulo), Frejat (in Rio) and Wander Wildner (for Porto Alegre). And according to press releases, he will be playing Lennon, Doors and Bowie songs, besides him own. Honestly, I would never guess these people could ever come to play with Ian. Not only because of their music style but also the language issue. I am quite curious to see what this will be like. Quoting one of the papers, they mentioned Ian's comment on his coming to Brazil for the second time in less than a year: "it is my second home". I will write as soon as I hear new stuff. Carlos. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V3 #232 ********************************
