I was just sitting here reading Bunny email with the tv on in the background when lo and behold The Killing Moon drifted to my ears. Excellent coincidence. Anyway, I looked up and it was... snooker on BBC 2. Of course I have to first say that no, I don't sit around watching snooker on Saturday mornings (though I will admit to watching a bit last night 'cause I think there's something appealing about watching anyone do anything as well as the long haired guy plays.) But I do watch Saturday Kitchen (I'm NOT ashamed) and the tv usually just stays on. :) Anyway, anything that gets the boys a bit of airtime has to be good.... "Rocket Ronnie" is definately kicking arse at the moment... The radio has been awful this week so I've strayed back to the tv.. Interesting quote for you Anne... Back in the days when a lot of people still had black & white tv sets one commentator once said " for those of you watching in black & white, the blue is behind the pink". It's a very old standard for us in the uk, but I'm guessing that it never made the US tv bloopers etc.. Yes I know.... I need to get out more.. Gonna try and get some touted tickets for Keane tonight providing they're not too dear.. Anyway talking of The Killing Moon, I was on the Mogwai Q&A section the other night, and there is a bit of a discussion about Donnie Darko and the ending etc.. One of the band thought it was all a bit strange, "although the Bunnymen song was good " .Good to see them get a namecheck on there of all places !! Okay..back to the weekend..
