It's probably a geographical thing Red.. Over here, a teenager's idea of doing their parents a favour is either:- a) Actually putting their dirty plates etc IN the dishwasher. b)Changing the toilet roll rather than leaving one piece left so that they can say they weren't the person that used it all. c)Only staying on the phone to their friends for 10 mins instead of half an hour. COLDPLAY have hinted that they will embark on a major tour in the new year. According to Echo And The Bunnymen singer Ian McCulloch, his band have been asked to support them. "The stuff we've been doing is amazing, mega, fantastic," explained frontman Ian McCulloch to Gigwise. "But Chris (Martin) has asked us to support them on a massive tour in the New Year." Martin and McCulloch formed a friendship when Coldplay recorded 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' in Liverpool's Parr Street studios. Charles, you should have corrected this. Not sure quite what to make of this..... Massively expensive tickets to see the support band who only ever get about 45 mins with no encores, and in a huge arena... And if that wasn't bad enough, you get to hear the main act singing an album's worth of songs that sound like the support band. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Coldplay convert.. After their nothing more than average debut album ( IMO ), A Rush of Blood was storming but very, very Bunnymen at the end of the day.. But Martin's no Mac, and Buckland will never be able to match Will ( again, IMO ). I think that this is perhaps best for Mac's solo stuff, as he did last time..
