Okay.. here's the score. Adrian, you ought to know that tickets this year will be personalised, so that means that you HAD to enter name and address details of everyone going. This had to be done prior to confirmation of purchase. Proof of ID will be required when you enter the site and the full details as to what proof you will weed won't be released until the tickets are sent out ( end of May ). So if you are going to sell them, then you WILL also need to guarantee that you will also supply the correct and full ID for the names and addresses that you entered at the time of purchase. IMO, I think it's all a bit dodgy at the moment.. Wait until tickets have been despatched will all the info before trying to shift them. To anyone thinking of purchasing these, or indeed any others offered, please be aware of all the requirements needed to validate any tickets. Keep checking the ticket-sellers as there will be refused and cancelled tickets popping up, and again, check around May 20th as that's the last date people can cancel their own tickets. http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/news/+glastonbury2004t/ For the first time in over 10 years, I'm not really looking forward to this year's festival. Sure the bands will be great, and McNabb's also playing so that's a bonus, but none of my usual crew got tickets and I've heard this repeated many, many times over the last 24 hrs. Indeed, I couldn't even get a ticket for my 17 yr old daughter ( too old to be included in the "family" applications by 1 year ). So it's gonna be just the 2 of us with maybe a few others once I've checked other friends who may in the same position with their own usual groups. Gonna be a strange one indeed.. I'm not even sure if I *really* wanna go. For all those that tried and failed, I'm really gutted for you. I've heard all the excuses about software etc etc and it costs money etc etc.. let's get this straight. The ticket company ( one of the bastard incarnations of Way-Ahead ) is owned by Andrew Lloyd-Webber, the richest man in entertainment. Whilst touts never did him any harm squeezing the best tickets for his west-end shows, he has the money and the connections to operate such a major ticket release as this but chose not to.. It's as simple as that. I'm gonna stop now as this could turn into the mother of all rants... Extremely pissed off, tried and tried and didn't get tickets. I really think they should have done something for previous regular goers. In this day to call a number and get an engaged tone for something like this is ridiculous, as is not getting a web page. The technology is there. Hope you still have a good one Stu, let us know how it goes. Didn't know about McNabb playing so I'm more gutted now. Sorry Raj, I wasn't aware that you didn't know.. Apparantly it was something to do with Mac bigging him up to his promoters who in turn managed to get him a slot. I know that once I'm there, I will have a blast, but the build up will be very low key, Some of my regular lot I see every day, so I'm gonna have to be careful as I don't want to seem like I'm rubbing anyone's nose in it. I'm looking at other ways of getting people in ( local bands, friends, contacts etc ), and will mail you off list if I can sort something. We managed artist's passes at the Crossing Border Festival in the Dam a few years back which was sold out, so you never know..
