The time has come when I need to do some taping of live events -- which are some of the most special in my life, so I want to do it right. Brand-name suggestions for recorders and microphones? pros / cons of using DAT/chip/flash etc. Y'all are the bestest, and be listening to BBC for 15 hours of live & recorded coverage of SXSW from here in Austin, Amy PS: the official promo CD for BPI is entitled: SUK ON THIS. No kidding. Gets quite the startled stares. I mentioned it to all 1,300 volunteers when we did bag stuffing of goodies for attendees, and when they came round to me again, I mentioned Snow Patrol & The Crimea & The Amazing Pilots, who are on two *other* CDs. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Mar 2004 22:45:10 -0000 From: "shaz" Subject: Re: seven-seas-moderated Help! Who should I see?! Hi Anne Saw Snow Patrol last night. What a fantastic gig!!!!!!!! :-))))) Sold out, not too big a venue, great interaction with the crowd, crowd singing along to Run was great, impromptu rendition of How To Be Dead coz some fan was so insistant, they gave in. I got the impression most people were there to see them do Run coz it had been on TOTP but by the end of the gig the crowd was jumping up and down and buzzing!! :-) I am loving their latest album.
