Who should I see?! Sorry if this has been covered off of the moderated list.... Quite a few names that I recognize from my record label days that never made it (mostly for good reason) - - interesting to see that they're still plugging along!!!! Also a few old indie bands that used to be great back in the day, but I haven't really kept up with them - Bettie Serveert and Silkworm especially. American Music Club are totally fantastic and I personally don't think they should be missed. Brian Jonestown Massacre are obviously a must see. Athlete are pretty good. I really like Tom McRae. Grant Lee Philips has always been a personal favourite.... I know there are some British Sea Power fans here - I go back and forth on them.... Stills and Thrills both quality. Franz Ferdinand is the darling over here right now, but they sort of bore me in the same way BRMC and Strokes do - as in they're quite good, but are just sort of rehashing an old sound.... Snow Patrol album is probably gonna end up top of my list this year.... Just my two p of course :) Anne --- Amy Moseley Rupp wrote: > SXSW is around the corner and there are even MORE > bands this year that I'm > thinking of seeing.... but I need help figuring out > which ones to prioritise > cos there are quite literally so many!
