I just got The Vessels cd - Jingly Jangly, Beatles,John Lennon, Dylan,Velvets sort of stuff IMO...it's great... Mew's one is good... I am contemplating getting the Ryan Adams Rock n Roll cd!!!!!!!! Anyone else heard it - what do you think?? I heard it playing in a cd shop and had to ask who it was coz I liked it so much. When they said Ryan Adams I thought the work experience lad had got it wrong - but apparently not. He's done a cd influenced by 80's bands that his record company did want him to do but he did. Good on him..... Never thought I'd ever say that about a Ryan Adams album, but then again, I said the same about Coldplay... Stu shaz wrote: I am contemplating getting the Ryan Adams Rock n Roll cd!!!!!!!! But if *Seal's* version actually >charts..... what would that *say* about the world? That people suck and have no sense of self and will only listen to what the record labels tell them to. Sad thing is, the same record company that gave us EATB in the first place is the same that will shoving these cover versions down our throats...but they haven't pushed any of the EATB releases since they moved them over to ADA. I haven't watched those two shows in ages and now I've seen both those acts in the same night!) hahhaha I thought his track on the show last night wasn't too bad. He looked like the singer in The Beale from a distance! hehee >I heard it playing in a cd shop and had to ask who it was >coz I liked it so much. I really can not imagine how he will interpret it..... I'm not being precious, I just don't like his style of music...just a personal opinion.......hope it sells well though!!!!!!
