I think my site's hosting company may have changed its policy on mp3s, as I've changed the filename a few times and it doesn't seem to be working. so.. The problem may have been with the spaces in the first link, which some browsers can't handle. Some of them as you know will translate the space to a % sign. And the URL was split over two lines which took a bit of cutting and pasting on my part to put back together, whereas by shortening the track name and using an IP address instead of a name, it's now one line. I doubt your site's hosting company is smart enough to disallow transfer of mp3s. If they tried, they'd probably just look at the filename ending in .mp3 -- that's easily defeated by renaming the file and telling people whose operating systems depend on the filename extension to rename it after it is downloaded. Thought I would mention some problems I've had in hosting similar files for people. Cheers for the track -- it's excellent. Mac's vocals are strong -- he does the lower octave with confidence knowing he can effortlessly glide back to the upper. Les's bass really stands out as well. I didn't know I'd sent an e-mail to technical support. I am fully aware of every single issue you addressed, Amy... but thanks all the same. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amy Moseley Rupp" To: Sent: Monday, December 15, 2003 8:43 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas "A Promise" from HUH promo > > it worked when I first tried it, but seems something's gone weird now....
