Cheers Loo, ours arrived yesterday as well, but I noticed the cheeky sods sent them second class, not recorded.. Not sure what time we'll be hitting the boozer on sat just yet.. That depends on how quick we can find a cheap hotel once we get there. There is a real cheap place next to the Ibis, but i don't think you can book in advance.. Should be fun anyway !! See you all there.... Tis true !! Mark & Lard played The Back Of Love ( nice mention of Pete too ) this afternoon and gave a massive plug for both the remasters and the current tour. It all depends on how you lick the stamp ;-) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 25 Nov 2003 21:31:10 +0000 From: "My White Devil" Subject: seven-seas Radiohead last night Just thought I'd post a quick note to mention the gig in Cardiff last night. Top gig, varied setlist (24 songs, 3 each from The Bends and OK Computer and the rest from Kid A onwards (including most of Hail To The Thief)). Highlights for me were Fake Plastic Trees (though I got SERIOUSLY pissed off with all the idiots who insisted on waving their lighters in the air - it's not a fucking Bon Jovi gig!), How To Disappear Completely, and a stunning, jaw-dropping, and extremely moving rendition of I Will from the current album. And they showed they still know how to rock big time with excellent performances of Just and My Iron Lung. Paranoid Android was pretty good too.... Nice to bump into Stu & Trina again....haven't seen them for AGES!
