I was thinking about this though --- do the RIAA have the authority to go after someone who downloads songs NOT copyrighted by their association? IOW, groups with no American representation (label)? and which product has not been released in the US? Groups like Snow Patrol, who have never had a US release, and Muse, whose last two albums haven't been released here? I saw a list of the songs the "perps" are said to have downloaded and they were all very mainstream American blech pop, which got me thinking about it. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 Nov 2003 19:37:09 -0800 (PST) From: Andrew Ironside Subject: Re: seven-seas Donnie Darko Can't remeber if this question was on VT or Seven Seas. Anyway about the TFF's cover. A guy from the TFF"s list sent me this. That would be Gary Jules, and it is on his album 'Trading Snakeoil for Wolftickets' available at cdbaby.com (and not many other places). Its an excellent album, though most the material is a bit different from the Mad World cover. That song was pretty much done for the movie, then included on the album. - -----Original Message----- From: Andrew Ironside [mailto:floghappy@yahoo.com] Sent: Sunday, November 02, 2003 6:49 PM To: tears4-fears@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [tears4-fears] A question for all Tears for fears fans Anyone know who did the TFF's Mad World at the end of Donnie Darko?
