Wayahead means you order waaaaaaaayahead of time, then poke your head waaaaaaaaaay out the door for the postie waaaaaaay before the tickets actually come ;-) I watched the UK Killing Joke contingent sweat out the arrival of their tickets. To my knowledge everyone got their tickets, but boy were they sweating it and moaning the whole way ;-) On a more (or less?) sobering note, now that they're in the US, the singer has the flu and the guitarist is reported to be drinking three bottles of vodka per night. They cancelled their Philadelphia show *after* it was supposed to go on. Which is why it's hard to want to travel 1,500 miles to *any* rock concert. However, they are confirmed to play SXSW in March! Whooooo-hooooo! Now I can ask Santa to bring the Bunnymen over as well ;-) ;-) ;-) And Santa please get Geordie off the bottle before his liver goes. - --Amy ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 28 Oct 2003 09:03:50 +0000 From: "Peter Burnand" Subject: RE: seven-seas iCame iSaw iPod Raj wrote: "Is it the 40Gb model?" - --- Yes it is. But dunno whether it's worth getting. Most of my stuff is on record and tape, I'm already up to 'D' on my CD collection and I've only used up about 4Gb. Unless I can get one of them things to convert vinyl onto mp3. Dunno how good they are. Anyway, defo get one Raj, especially if you do a bit of travelling, it stops you going crazy in airports. If you're on pc I'd get the iTunes pc version, it's a beaut. The Musicmatch pc jukebox thing is crap. Wish I'd got a Mac instead of a pc now that I've seen how good Mac stuff is.
