It will be nice to look forward to an opener. You can check 'em out for yourselves, as they have a couple of very nice tracks on their site http://www.thestills.net/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Oct 2003 14:14:37 +0100 From: "Echoing The Bunnymen" Subject: seven-seas Track lists I have just gone through the track lists that I posted, you will find that every track I have listed for each album is on that particular album in that order. I used the list Warner's sent me so please don't have ago at me. Just take on Warner's if you must. Anyone know how they package things these days ? I had 3 Walker Brothers CDs off them a couple of years, all smashed to pieces due to shite packaging. I don't order from them anymore - since Flowers.... didn't get it from them until 3 weeks after release... and the packaging was as you described... through bunnymen.com, we're focusing on amazon - they're the biggest of the online resellers, and getting the remasters into their top 25 preorders would be a boon, and result in 'spotlight' features on their site, etc... prior to this week's newsletter, they were all around #8,000 in sales rank on amazon... last I checked, they're in the top 400.... - -I - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barry Whiting" To: Sent: Tuesday, October 14, 2003 9:14 AM Subject: Re: seven-seas remasters tracks... > www.101cd.com are listing the remasters on their website at the rather > reasonable price of #6.99 (postage = #1 for 1st item, 50p > thereafter)......which is nice. > > Anyone know how they package things these days ? I noticed that on "Crocs" the songs "Do It Clean" and "Read It In Books" are considered bonus tracks since they were omitted from the original UK LP. So if the US reissue is the same as the UK reissue. Ivan or Peter can anyone verify if this will be the case or not? If so, the US listeners will have an "added" thrill of a changed running order of "Crocs" and may take a little time getting used to. Well, at least that's good. I went to Webster Hall yesterday to get my tickets at the box office................(coz I was just a few blocks away at the Spiritualized gig!)...... and they AREN'T SELLING THEM till day of the show.... you HAVE to buy them from TicketBastard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ggrrr I wish the Bunnyemn would've gone with someone cheaper to use. The guy at the venue said they rented the hall to the band, and they were in charge of selling their own tix. So that's why ya can't get them at the box office. That stinks. I sure as hell hope they don't sell out..... coz I refuse to give ticketbastard any more money!!! ggrrr ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #810 ********************************
