Alongside a storming version of Bob Marley's 'Redemption Song' (produced by Rick Rubin and featuring musical guests Smokey Hormel (Tom Waits, Beck, Johnny Cash) and Benmont Tench (Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers), the album is comprised of eight original songs, as well as a cover of the 1952 Bobby Charles' classic 'Before I Grow Too Old', re-named 'Silver And Gold'. The record and sleeve were put together from detailed notes that Joe had elaborately detailed during the early part of December 2002. Includes the single 'Coma Girl'. looloo [demime 0.97c-p1 removed an attachment of type image/gif which had a name of Blank Bkgrd.gif] ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Oct 2003 11:17:04 +0100 From: "looloo" Subject: RE: seven-seas I'm Back / CMJ / Inland Invasion >>-----Original Message----- >>From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org]On >>Behalf Of Charles Pham >> >>Thanks to Red & LooLoo, I've got my ticket to the Liverpool show. Well, I'm not a big fan of adding stuff onto the end of a very perfect cd, so everyone already knows my views on that subject.... HOWEVER.....I'm more excited to see news of that other thing..... quote from the site: "Just received some news from Bunnymen legend Les, he is in the process of starting a new project as you read this. I have been told if I tell anyone he will drive his Riva speedboat over my head. " I think you would look rather nice wearing a speedboat, Peter!! ;-);-);-) hehehee You TEASER!!!!!! :P Red ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Oct 2003 14:37:08 -0500 From: Amy Moseley Subject: seven-seas YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (remasters) www.echoingthebunnymen.com has the track listing..... run! don't walk! I am beside myself with glee.... a good part of Ocean Rain will be released with (studio, I believe) alternate versions of the songs, and my favourite, favourite song, the extended mix of "Bring On The Dancing Horses" will be on the remaster of the Grey Album. Don't see how they can release 22 October in the UK if only putting out track listing now, but.......... whoooooooooo! - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #801 ********************************
