I have that "Double Exposure" boot, but I'd hafta compare. If yr on the fence about the new MM, let me assure you that it's well worth the purchase, though. I played it through twice last night and it felt like I was listening to a new record, definitely a massive improvement on the old CD release. Definitive, etc... - -Chris A. No, not on the fence about "Marquee Moon" at all. It shall be purchased.... ....although there is a problem in that the Dylan remasters are suppose to be magnificent and once you've decided which 'essentials' to pick up, you realise you've still got 8 CDs on your hands and not enough cash in your back pocket. Thank the Lord The Bunnymen have no such plans on the horizon. - -- Barry Whiting barry@urquell.freeserve.co.uk ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Sep 2003 12:28:29 -0400 From: "Chris Adams" Subject: Re: seven-seas Television reissues - tracklistings "Barry Whiting" Sent by: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org 25-Sep-2003 12:13 PM Please respond to seven-seas To: cc: Subject: Re: seven-seas Television reissues - tracklistings ....although there is a problem in that the Dylan remasters are suppose to be magnificent and once you've decided which 'essentials' to pick up, you realise you've still got 8 CDs on your hands and not enough cash in your back pocket. Dammit. I haven't even heard of these. Let's see...Highway 61, Another Side, Bringing It All Back Home, Blonde On Blonde, Blood On the Tracks--I'm 80-90 bucks lighter. Any xtra tracks or anything like that? Thank the Lord The Bunnymen have no such plans on the horizon. Heh. Really, though, the Bunnymen stuff'll be well worth the asking price. I've heard a few things about these re-releases, and the xtra stuff alone will be well worth the asking price. I think everyone's gonna be very pleased. Any word on an official release date? I ain't heard a muthafukkin thang 'bout dat. Anyone heard the new Strokes? Despite my indifference to the first album ("Oh, an avearage American indie-guitar band demo tape...YAAAWWN...") I'm still curious about the follow-through. - --Chris A. - -- Barry Whiting barry@urquell.freeserve.co.uk ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #781 ********************************
