A few of us on the Wylie list swap compilation cds of our current favourite tunes etc. I do all mine using Acid Pro and mix the outros/intros so as it plays as one continuous 80min disc. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Sep 2003 21:33:23 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Stu=20Bird?= Subject: Re: seven-seas-digest V2 #749 Not too sure about this Steve. Can you preview the "mix" prior to burning ? The beats of the tracks also needs matching so that it flows properly, and with Acid, you can just slide the sample/track about till it fits. I haven't tried the Nero method so I don't know for sure, but you would have to know the timing (in seconds/tenths/ etc ) and work it out that way ??? The other benefit is that you can edit tracks over a variety of criteria prior to inclusion in the mix. And my goodness Acid Pro is expen$ive! AFAIK you cannot adjust tempo in Nero so that even if you were able to match up an initial beat, it'd quickly get out-of-sync again. I'm dying to try my hand at remixes but am going to have to wait until life calms down a little bit. By then I think I'll have a hearing aid ;-) - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Sep 2003 14:19:40 -0700 From: "Ivan Smith" Subject: Re: seven-seas-digest V2 #749 I found my copy of Acid Pro on Kazaa... complete with progam crack/keygen - -I - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amy Moseley" To: Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2003 2:00 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas-digest V2 #749 > Quoting Stu Bird : > > > Not too sure about this Steve.
