If they'd been properly mastered they would've been Rush jobs ;-) (okay I get to make a bad pun) That is why I support remastering .... I *promise* y'all you'll hear so many "new" nuances to the music that were there all along. If you like the albums just the way they are, don't buy the remasters. I haven't had the privilege of owning any Bunny LPs on vinyl and therefore have *only* had the crappy cassette versions (cassette tape technology is inferior to vinyl) or CDs. For me, the remasters will be a step up. I do also wonder what the sales of 80s compilations that include "Lips Like Sugar" have done for sales of that particular song. There are a lot out there, not to mention sales of the soundtrack for _Pretty In Pink_ ("Bring On The Dancing Houses) and other movies. - --Amy ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Sep 2003 03:15:38 +0000 From: "Peter Burnand" Subject: RE: seven-seas OT: NYC bar famous for 26,000 song MP3 Raj wrote: "Best left to a conversation over a coupla beers.
