Thanks. I don't think it would be too outrageous for this to be real! Why do you think it's a hoax? But I swear I've heard the name Bonnie Marsden before.... only I can't think where! Maybe a post on the forum? You have to be a geek like me and read the source for the web page (the "code" that tells your browser what and how to display things). I actually bought a clue because my machine at work is a bit slow, and I *saw* the redirect happening -- up at the top of the browser, where it shows the address, I saw "indiebanddomain" flash by... and then was taken to the TQD site. Checked the web source "code", and indeed, the above link is the "real" location, with turquoisedays.info an alias. If you want to get to sites you can't see, try looking at the source for a different web link than the one you tried; and reading mail header files can be very interesting if you're trying to play Guess Who? :-) - --Amy - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Aug 2003 11:44:33 -0400 From: Red Subject: Re: seven-seas OT: browser stuff At 10:16 AM 8/27/03 -0500, you wrote: > I actually bought a clue because >my machine at work is a bit slow, and I *saw* the redirect >happening -- up at the top of the browser, where it shows >the address, I saw "indiebanddomain" flash by... like I said...it didn't work at all. the only thing in my browser window was exactly what Peter typed in. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Aug 2003 10:33:02 -0500 From: Amy Moseley Rupp Subject: seven-seas KJ fan's reference to the Bunnies Killing Joke & Echo were both at V2003, apparently, and one KJ lister wrote: > :| (I seem to remember that the Bunnies were some... little crappy.. > "eighties" band?) Yvonne is saying that Les has not got much memorabilia. Well if you call over 300 hundred photo's (shot by Les), 3 tea chests of Bunnymen gear, framed live photo in the hall at home & vast amounts of other stuff not much, I don't know what much is then. But hey who are we to judge on others people. For those of you who are big Les fans (Red etc) Louis has started playing bass and dad got him started on a certain blue Fender Jazz Bass guitar...... Who knows what's next for the lad..... Yvonne is saying that Les has not got much memorabilia. yeah, I didn't quite get that bit myself....but what I was saying was that I would agree that Louis would wanna know all about the band! And if it really was her, it wouldn't seem too off the mark, and that she may find the book interesting in that reguard. Although......who better to ask than dad, right?? And what about Rebecca...is she interested in the band too? >For those of you who are big Les fans (Red etc) Louis has started playing bass >and dad got him started on a certain blue Fender Jazz Bass guitar...... >Who knows what's next for the lad..... Sounds cool Peter! :-) Thanks!
