I agree with all of them. The song Caution by The Chameleons always does it for me. Some others that come to mind are Hollow Hills by Bauhaus (live version), Let Down by Radiohead, Lord I've Been Trying and also Buy It In Bottles by Richard Ashcroft, World's Away by Strange Advance, and I absolutely love Jeff Beck's guitar playing on the song Say You Will by Mick Jagger. When that song is played very loud, his guitar playing sends shivers down my spine. Well.. I've already said Run by Snow Patrol.. Then there's Two Rights Make One Wrong by Mogwai, Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd, Hong Kong Garden by Siouxsie & The Banshees, Another Girl, Another Planet by The Only Ones, Atmosphere by Joy Division to name but a few.. There is a group of us on the Wylie board who swap compliation cdrs, and a recent theme has been "favourite tracks ever".. the more I think about it, the greater the number grows, and it becomes difficult to take stuff out.. time, circumstances etc count as much as lyrics and riffs. "We will leave you with news of one further alliance with BSP. On the forthcoming October tour of Scotland, England and Ireland, it seems that Echo & The Bunnymen's Will Sergeant should be bringing his experimental solo performance to the concerts in Sheffield, Liverpool and Leeds. This is still subject to formal confirmation. There will also be support, at all dates, from the gifted Brighton group The Tenderfoot and a special guest at the London show. Let's hope the power stays on." Bloody typical that I have Bristol tickets.. I'll just have to drive past the place where the cover for Grind was shot with Performance on the car stereo before the gig !!
