Do you KNOW how many of my fellow techno-geeks adore that damned MOVIE!!!! ARRRRRGGGH! I refuse to watch it! I feel like my life is a very bad movie sometimes cos weird stuff always happens. If I had to even try to pick an analogue, it'd be _Ghost_, but who plays which character would not be obvious to everyone, and there'd have to be some major plot revision. I'd get to be Demi Moore, natch :-) Red, I "lost" one of my PiL CDs for *years*. Even finally *replaced* the damn thing, only to eventually find it "doubled" in a CD case *behind* another CD. I'd probably taken two CDs to the car or to a portable CD player and then used the one case I had with me to protect both discs. I'm glad I found it, though, cos the original had a sort of hologram made up of John Lydon's face on it, and the replacement had a totally plain and boring screen print on the disc. - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 20 Aug 2003 18:27:39 +0100 From: "Barry Whiting" Subject: Re: seven-seas L'pool Hotels - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anne Gleeson" > Hotels were actually largely booked around the time > tix went on sale Thanks for inducing the panic, Anne. Several phones calls later though, I have secured a room. I *will* find it..............it's just a matter of time! I do that double up trick too when I'm in a big hurry or something, that's why I was searching the other boxes! I found 5 cds today that I was looking for a while ago! They were all in the right boxes...just in an odd room in the house! So that's a plus! ROTFL! The folks on the KJ list are acting as if they were assaulted at the Camden gig. :-) "just now getting my hearing back...." "the bruises are nearly gone...." "have recovered my energy level, almost...." Are we getting old OR WHAT?! :-) At any rate I am well warned to take earplugs along when I see them -- rumour is early November after they play New Orleans on Halloween -- the show is called Voodoo Fest or some such. I also read Gary Lightbody, the lead singer of Snow Patrol, saying that he was afraid of flying and that that is why they've not been to North America to play :-) Welcome to my world, Gary. :-) Maybe we could somehow trade places for a day? Shaz, if you haven't, you REALLY need to listen to the new Snow Patrol. I can't BELIEVE that Gary's only 25 or 26 and has already put out such wonderful music. - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #684 ********************************
