Tue Aug 19, 4:36 PM ET Add Entertainment - Reuters to My Yahoo! By Troy Carpenter NEW YORK (Billboard) - The Cure, Duran Duran, Violent Femmes, Echo & the Bunnymen and the Psychedelic Furs will headline the third annual Inland Invasion concert set for Sept. 20 east of Los Angeles. While last year's concert was defiantly punk-themed, with bands like the Sex Pistols, the Buzzcocks, X and the Circle Jerks on the bill, this year's event will be a largely '80s affair, spiced with a smattering of current acts. Also on tap for Inland Invasion III, which will take place at the Glen Helen Hyundai Pavilion in Devore, Calif., are Hot Hot Heat, Dashboard Confessional, Bow Wow Wow, Interpol, General Public, Fountains Of Wayne, Soft Cell, Berlin and Dramarama. Tickets go on sale Saturday (Aug. 23) at 10 a.m. PDT, with many to be given away by organizer KROQ-FM throughout the next month. - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 20 Aug 2003 09:15:27 -0700 From: "MCH" Subject: Re: seven-seas Crocodiles > At 08:51 AM 8/20/03 -0400, you wrote: > > > >Did you try the most obvious place -- your cd player ??????????????????? > > hehehehee..........yes, I have! :-( > It's been missing for a few weeks actually! > I think it's stuck in a different box, and I've searched > about half of them, and no luck yet! $@#!@%^&^ > > :-( > > Red You've been transferred to a new Matrix. Sometimes there are glitches in the transfers, you remember stuff from the previous matrix environment... they're supposed to fabricate a consistent set of false memories for you when you're transferred, but the damn programmers are only human.... To keep this discussion On Topic. Recently, the list were discussing soundtracks and someone mention "Dark City". I watched this movie last night. Funny how MCH's description of a new matrix is similar to the premise of Dark City. Very good and interesting movie, done by the same director who did "The Crow". Another excellent movie. The On Topic connection os Echo's contribution to the cd soundtrack.
