I'm terrible with actors, unless it comes to Johnny Depp, seen MOST of his films. As for the rest, there's only a handful that I could even point out in a line-up! Guess it's just not my thing! Heck...I was sitting in the 'Red Bar' in NYC and the guy (owner) from the Sopranos was in there........only about 10 people in the place....and i had no clue he was there till we left and my friend said....Oh yeah, that guy from that show was in there. hahahhaa Red ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 17 Aug 2003 23:48:53 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: seven-seas un- Cool Never knew Midnight Run was Macs fave movie. Love it and have done for years. Interesting that you mention a whole bunch of films but not Goodfellas, which is one of the best films ever made. - -----Original Message----- From: K.P. Jacques I'm not picking on anyone here (honest Chris ;-) ) or their choices But most of the films that people have mentioned are (dare I say it?) getting abit old now. Yeh I know nothing wrong with 'Old movies' Heck only last year me and Elwood P Dowd were the same age..........how old is George Bailey??? I found it particuarly interesting the number of people who mentioned Midnight Run, was that because it's Macs fave flick? This must be the only community I have come across that has heard of the movie, apart from 'The Midnight Run Fanatics Society' but that only meets once in awhile.....to be more specific now and again. Chris I think you summed it up about Heat - It was alright - but it lived more on hype than content (IMHO). Trouble with De Niro was we were spoilt (big friggin time) too early in his career with movies like - Godfather 2, Once Upon a Time in America, Taxi Driver, Angel Heart (small, important, and beautifully manicured role). His rip off of 'Side Show Bob' was fairly passable ;-). Ok lets just agree he's made some great movies..........just not in the last 5 years lol. Ken ps That movie about the Italian fellows with that little bloke who gets abit uptight.....I think they based it on a brand of pizza.....that was ok too ;-) - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Adams" To: Sent: Friday, August 15, 2003 2:59 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas un- Cool > I think De Niro's been in a few good things over the past few years. My only beef about extra tracks is, and always will be that I would prefer them on a bonus cd as opposed to being tagged on to the end of what I already know and love as a complete album. If there's a vote for accessing additional material then I'm in the yes camp. > I guess I'm in the minority here, as the news about extra tracks is > fantastic (btw: thanks for disclosing the news to the list, Ivan)!
