Coz Terry Hall was on Razor Cuts tonight. WAY better than any radio around here!!!!!!!!!! That's the most recent album I've actually purchased, still don't have Mac's ~ the local mall doesn't have it. But Terry's new one is bizarre, awesome, and weird. Right up my alley, and with his vocals......I couldn't go wrong! ;-) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Aug 2003 21:35:17 +0100 From: "Matt H" Subject: Re: seven-seas OT: =?iso-8859-1?B?oE5vdg==?= lager left? >exactly...there's always something to drink.... >and they can make more damn lager! um....my local cider farm don't make lager!! No lager here, but in two weeks we are going to pick grapes and make 50 gallons of wine.... If that goes well, I'm doing scrumpy next! - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Aug 2003 17:27:46 -0400 From: Red Subject: Re: OT Re: seven-seas OT: Novdg== lager left ? Well, or Stu is. :-) Have you downloaded EVERYTHING?! (Scary thought.) Local newspaper loves the new KJ; says Jaz, Geordie and Youth outshine Dave Grohl! In the esoterica category: Andrew, you ever heard of Simply Saucer? They get the label of Canada's first proto-punk band, and are seeing their material "legitimately" re-released this week after an absence of more than ten years. - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Aug 2003 16:22:45 -0500 From: Amy Moseley Rupp Subject: seven-seas Re: OT wine and lager and cider oh my! > I have grapes in my yard! These are vinyard grapes; my brother & SIL have been caring for them all summer. This family grows grapes to sell to local wineries which are starting to produce some really good wines, though we'll never be able to rival California for varieties of wines. They're cabernet sauvignon grapes. I am very proud of my FIVE Granny Smith apples :-) this year has not been good for fruit production. Too cold then too hot. No peaches this spring, no melons this summer, berries so-so earlier in the year. - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Aug 2003 16:27:50 -0500 From: Amy Moseley Rupp Subject: Re: seven-seas OT: No lager left? > Actually, this one's supposedly true, if our national > news yesterday is to be believed. Serves people right > for drinking nancy girlie lager is all I can say! They ought to only drink ale and cider? I wonder why Nancy got to be part of a derogatory phrase. 'Tisn't here. No, it was a lady from Derbyshire who was bemoaning the low lager supply and then a bloke answered her and said as long as she wasn't planning on drinking the whole lot herself he figured they could hold out ;-) so maybe they *do* consider it girlie lager ;-) in the Midlands. - ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #635 ********************************
