Is this a new cd? I haven't kept up with Beck, but I absolutely love his old cd called One Foot In The Grave! It's a surprising choice overall, but not for SF.... it *is* a good dance song. "Dancing Horses" of course did very well when it was released. It's a pity that "Lips" is the one song everyone remembers. The beginning of "The Cutter" is also excellent funky dance material -- up until the part that goes "am I the happy loss" which is too straight up IMHO -- but the bass line through the main part of the song is very danceable. There's even the extended (forget the name) mix of Faith and Healing that's heavier on the opening -- somewhat predictable dance stuff, but then it changes into more straight stuff. Oh for the days of "I Sit On Acid".... :-) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #611 ********************************
