Hell no....it's SHEEP over here! And....um....if you've ever heard the theory that sheepshaggers wear wellies so that they can put the sheep's back legs in them to stop her from running off, it's all wrong..... Think about it....your average sheep stands less than waist height to your average human. If you were to put her back legs in your wellies, she'd be too low down for you..... No....the idea is to put her FRONT legs in your wellies, then you can take hold of her back legs and lift her on..... Damn....I've lived in Somerset too long..... Yeah, long enough to speak as if with eerie first hand experience! Of course, I guess if one is into short birds the same could apply..... Stu, did you pass that spliff down the coast?! ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 15:32:22 -0500 From: "Amy Rupp" Subject: RE: seven-seas Lists/Vents > Nor would I like > to send any bands to desert island. Considering how many people you've said want shooting for their crap music, I'm just a little dubious of any claims that you'd be so openminded and courteous! ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 15:37:27 -0500 From: "Amy Rupp" Subject: RE: seven-seas Lists/Vents > I no longer listen to day- > time radio, so I don't have to put up with crap > playlists, prefering instead to play CDs in my > works van all the time, which gives me hours of > pleasure, and offends no-one else.... Considering you drive with the windows down I do wonder what those farmers think of you! Too hot here, need the AC on nearly year round, so no one has to listen to me yowling along in my soccer-mom minivan ;-) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 16:50:29 -0400 From: Red Subject: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Re:_seven-seas_OT:_=A0WhatXQ=3D_Are_We_Doing_?= To Do With Our Lives? Do any of you over there know anyone who's ever confessed to being a sheepshagger? Or witnessed such a thing? Too bad Amy had to go before they started kicking it into high gear but they did start real late it was after midnight before they took the stage. Yes the new keyboard chick is Mark's new wife, I think her name is Elena or Eleanor. Met Ben the guitarist and Dingo the bass player after the show, both real nice guys, supposed to party with the band after tonights show in Dallas, they are leaving for home tomorrow. So they put on a good show for us, no Mark E. Tantrums , 2 encores, handed mic off to audience singers (other fallnet friends we met there got to sing with the band backing them up, pretty cool) for encore of Big New Prinz, etc. - - Will O'Connor ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 21:59:46 +0100 From: "K.P.
