What a small world! (sorta OT but not totally) I just got an email from a guy that I sorta know from the Terry Hall list who ran into Stuart Bird (!!!) at Glasto...turns out he knows Stu from the Pete Wylie list and he knows me from the Terry Hall list and me and Stu know each other from the Bunnymen list.....what a small world! But imagine the weirdness of Stu and the other guy meeting up at Glasto in the midst of a zillion people and finding out they both know me from different lists! Biazzre! The music world isn't as big as it seems, is it? There's still a bit of on topic connection here....Pete Wylie is connected to the Bunnymen from the Crucial Three and Terry hall is connected to the Bunnymen because Les played bass on his solo album 'Home'. So in some ways it's not so bizarre after all... At any rate, the other guy said the Bunnymen were so good at Glasto that he may even go to the Anniversary gigs! :-) Red ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2003 08:23:09 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: seven-seas Mac & The Doors His voice is still very good, went to see him last year, tree hugging hippie with incense sticks burning all over the stage but still a decent gig with a couple of Zep tracks thrown in - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Andrew Ironside Sent: 17 July 2003 05:14 To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: Re: seven-seas Mac & The Doors Plant looks really wrinkled on that MOJO cover, how is his voice these days? Still hit the high notes? I've heard wonderful things about their new 5 hour DVD.
