Anyone ought to be able to play for fun.... if it makes you login first, just come up with some random data... the only tricks would be that our city/state/postal code format is "Austin, TX 78739" and our telephone format is (512) nnn-nnnn That's my area code, but I ain't archiving my phone number! Nice seeing Matt and Zap and seeing Trina and Stu again. Had to dash as I was full of beer. Great gig and great Glasto all round. Those scousers down the front were very typical scousers, I got a swig of voddy in exchange for one of my ciggies and the fella's eternal friendship Thought Inspirals were good too Didn't bother with Radiohead but watched a cracking set by The Damned Raj - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of matt.harkness@bt.com Sent: 27 June 2003 15:32 To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: seven-seas Glastonbury Well, what can I say..... The lads were on superb form, Mac was in an extremely happy mood, joking along with the crowd and getting jiggy with it, Will was his usual awesome, faultless self, and the rest of the band more than ably supported them. I managed to get right down the front of a pretty damned large turn-out for so early in the day, along with Stu & Trina, Raj, and Zap (who was a big girl's blouse and couldn't finish his pint of Somerset Scrumpy!). Set list was standard fare, starting off with Lips, Rescue and Villiers Terrace, ending up with Do It Clean, and in between, though not necessarily in this order, were Crocodiles, Rust, Dancing Horses, Nothing Lasts Forever, Back Of Love, The Cutter, Flowers and possibly one or two others but I can't remember right now - I've just nipped back up the road to the telephone exchange to send this report then I'm off back to the site! Oh, and if the dickhead who insisted on shouting out that his sister teaches Mac's daughter (several times, and right over my right shoulder) is subscribed to this list, listen mate, next time shut the fuck up, we don't care! Matt, sending quite possibly the quickest ever report from a Glasto appearance! ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Jul 2003 21:02:11 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: seven-seas WARNING ! - OTOTOTOTOTOTOT I am a total slapper - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of looloo Sent: 28 June 2003 20:12 To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: seven-seas WARNING ! - OTOTOTOTOTOTOT Raj -- You Are A Tart !! ;-) looloo >>-----Original Message----- >>From:> Noose Boy >>Sent: 26 June 2003 00:19 ) >> >> >>They were indeed kisses, coupla drinks and I'm anyones ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Jul 2003 21:03:46 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: seven-seas OTOTOT Festie Bashing Being down the front at the festival isn't that great but the atmosphere you get with 50-60 thousand people is unmatched - -----Original Message----- From: looloo & looking at the sea of people just said NO WAY would i want to be there -- & even if you're down the front it isn't going to have the same atmosphere as seeing a band at a venue etc etc ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Jul 2003 21:07:14 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: seven-seas from nme .com............ In fact, the last time he was here we saw him struggling through the mud with bin bags tied round each leg, swearing loudly. Today, despite the drizzle that persists throughout their set, he seems remarkably chipper. Possibly an early morning sharpener or five has helped take the edge off. Whatever, he chats (mostly incomprehensibly) before, after and during every song in their greatest hits set to the slight chagrin of the rest of the Bunnymen who aren't quite as merry. During 'Killing Moon' he burbles on about how much he enjoyed the song appearing in 'Donnie Darko', which at least has the advantage for the younger crowd members of reminding them where they've heard it before ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Jul 2003 16:08:12 -0400 From: "Chris Adams" Subject: RE: seven-seas WARNING ! - OTOTOTOTOTOTOT Hey-- What's a slapper? Most foul crap I've ever had in my mouth. And that's saying something. My recommendation: avoid like plague.
