However, at Glasto, I was rejoicing to the wonder that was The Flaming Lips at the time The Coral were playing The Other Stage. Same went for the Furrys Vs Radiohead. The fact that I saw The Zutons made up for me missing The Coral.. I think they're much better anyway. Cheers, Stu Peter John Burnand wrote: Did you get to see The Coral, Stu? They're normally ace live I think but not sure how they'd come over in a festival setting. Looking forward to their second lp. There's a track 'Milkwood Blues' (re. 'Under Milkwood') which sounds interesting - --------------------------------- Want to chat instantly with your online friends? Okay, the real answer to your question........ Well, FWIW, I thought that the Bunny's set was outstanding. Okay, standard set, but that had to be expected under the circumstances. Mac wearing a jacket rather than a coat, and also jeans... very casual, but he looked good nonetheless. At first, I thought he was going to explode at the sound and lighting guys, but it quickly turned into brilliant humour ( it's only my own reasoning, but I think he suddenly thought "wtf, it's a fun time afterall" ). I think Mac needs to be applauded for that. At one point, he even offered a roadie the chance to take the mic when he came onto the stage. Mac's voice was in superb form, Will was his usual brilliant self ( is that a new Jag he's using ?), and the rest of the guys were sound as well. Great to hear Rust again, and there seemed to be added punch to a lot of the tracks. Perhaps the most satisfying part was hearing the reactions of friends who had either never heard of the band before, or who haven't heard them for years and years. Every one without fail was very impressed, and the friend who didn't know of them at all sent me at least 3 text messages during the set to say how great she thought they were. Things like that make my obsession worth while !!! It also highlights the value of events like these, and if the next festival shows are as good, then I'm sure that the band will have a lot of new fans on board. Cheers, Stu Chris Adams wrote: Heh!
