Kinda puts things into perspective, doesn't it? * * * Will is right about most things. Question: If Sgt. Fuzz sells a bootleg on e-bay, is it still a bad thing? I'm not saying I want to sell bootlegs, unless they are the old vinyl ones, like Will's, you know "special". The Bunnymen I have grown to love over the past 25 years are completely cool with the making of bootlegs. Selling them, I'm not sure. Will does it. Fuzz sells a bootleg on e-bay, is it still a bad thing? an eBay seller wrote Will on this very subject this morning: "Hello. I recently listed an Echo & The Bunnymen Lp (Live at the YMCA). You too listed this record and sold it on eBay. Well, eBay ended my auction...Is this fair? How were you permitted to sell your copy?" Will's reply to that query: "it was probably reported by someone in the bunnymen organization not me...as I performed on the record i feel in my rights to sell it. I suggest you dry your eyes and try again." - --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Wow! That takes balls! hahahaa He must've gotten 50 lashes with a wet noodle then coz he seemed to get off stage rather quickly both times in NYC. Short sets pretty much, although still way too long for my liking! I hated the way he yelled out after he joined Nick onstage-- NICK CAVE AND THE BAD SEEDS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! -- like he was the big shot and they were his guest for the moment! That was too pretentious! I wanted to go *this* year because so many bands I like were playing, UK, US, you-name-it. It would've been wonderful to go. I've been grateful (and a wee bit jealous) to read all the reports coming in. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 28 Jun 2003 21:53:48 -0500 (CDT) From: Amy Moseley Rupp Subject: Re: seven-seas Guardian Glastonbury article > >Brown's classic Sex Machine, complete with Mick > >Jagger-style gyrations. > > No again....the set finished with Do It Clean, and Sex Machine > was > merely thrown in the middle, as he always does....
