OT: go to the Nutter's Forum > Wot is this about???.....did I miss something somewhere? It appeared as though Carlito Zak replied to something Matt'd said, though I never got the original, so was it private mail? though Matt speaking of the enormous surge in workload is hardly the stuff of intrigue.... So Zak has been plaintively ruminating about being banned from bunnymen.com over some statement about something or another. (wearily) And being the freedom of speech person I am, yes, I posted about it on bunnymen.com, though it might not last long, so go to the Nutter's Forum (I chose that one cos I'm a nutter). ;-) If you also wonder about such things, wander over, and comment. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 25 Jun 2003 22:18:06 +0000 From: "carlito way" Subject: RE: seven-seas I said, Amy, and.... OT: go to the Nutter's Forum Thanks, I guess, Amy. You see, I can't go there to see it. I'm sure I could get in there thousands of ways, but that's not the point, is it? Also sorry about that "Dammit". Amy and anyone else who might have a problem with it. I don't know where that came from. It was longer statement and then I chopped it down to just "Dammit". Sorry. - -Zak Carlito _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8. Well, I shoulda put it in the "Website" category :-( but I'm not having a wonderful day. I locked my keys in the car by cleverly putting them in my purse, then locking the door by hand and shoving it to. Blink blink. So the pop-a-lock guy comes (my brother was going to bring me the spare key but nooooo, apparently it takes eight hours for two dudes to put in 800 square feet of carpet so he was stuck there) and it's 97 F out and on the parking lot the heat is awful. I smile and tell him my name and instantly his walkie-talkie radio goes off and there's someone *locked in a car unconscious* at the next intersection north. He looks distressed, then jumps in the little truck like Superman in a neon orange pop-a-lock shirt. You see, at 97 F outside, people routinely die in cars if they are locked in -- usually kids, but who knows what the problem was here. It was at a Wendy's hamburger joint, did the burger give someone knockout indigestion? Dude eventually comes back and says rather deflatedly that someone had broken a window of the car before he got there. So no Superman gig today for him, just sad sorry me. And am I ever knackered. Crawling an hour home in rush hour traffic when it's 97 Freakin' degrees is not going to be fun. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Jun 2003 00:12:32 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: seven-seas OT: Those going to Glasto, who you gonna see? :- ) Rubbish, there is SO much to this festival, it's incredibly hard to put into words. It's feeling is unmatched by any festival, event or gig anywhere else in the world. As you walk through the gates you really do feel the weight peel off your shoulders. The walking, toilets and money are irrelevant. This is why people go, year in year out, without even needing to look at the price or who is paying. - -----Original Message----- From: carlito way Great idea, Amy. That would be like being there, only you don't have to walk forever, crap in a big stinky box, pay large to drink,..... ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Jun 2003 00:15:02 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: RE: seven-seas OT: Those going to Glasto, who you gonna see? :-) My heart bleeds for you - -----Original Message----- From: Matt H Lucky my ass! I've worked damned hard for this! Just remember when you're next at a festival and you walk into a merchandising tent in the middle of a field, your being able to pay for said merchandising by credit card is facilitated by the fact that some poor sod has had to install a phone line in that tent, in the middle of that field.....sorry to bore you, but there are something like 350 phone and ISDN lines on the site, just for the week of the festival, and all have to be removed again straight after...... ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #485 ********************************
