Pardon my west coast ignorance! Heehehee.....there are no beaches in PA. ;-) (well, cept little ones on lakes, but those aren't really real beaches.) We travel about 5 and 1/2 hours south to Delaware to a place called Dewey Beach, which is just below Rehoboth Beach. Very nice area. :-) I spose Atlantic City, NJ would be a bit closer... but I've heard it's not very nice any more. Never been there myself. He's the guitarist for the Longpigs. Red I agree with that,100%. I wasn't a big Longpigs fan, but I picked up one of his solo albums a few months ago--"Late Night Final"--and it was stunning. Kind of a crooned 50's semi-balladry "Twin Peaks" vibe. A few days later I picked up his latest, "Lowedges" and it was just as good, if not better. Beautiful voice, great melodies, and fantastic lyrics, e.g. "...my motorcycle's full of holes." And his version of standard "You don't miss your water until the well runs dry" will have you weeping into yr whiskey. - --Chris ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Jun 2003 12:16:54 -0500 From: "Amy Rupp" Subject: RE: seven-seas Shack Gig > A link between EATB and Robbie Williams could be Chris Sharrock, one > time drummer for LAs, Icicle Works, World Party, Lightning > Seeds and now > Robbie. Now *that's* scawy ;-) Of course, drummers seem to be the most mobile of the instrumentalists -- almost *like* session players in many instances. And of course unfortunately prone to the Spinal Tap syndrome. Sure held true with EATB :-( ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Jun 2003 18:42:40 +0100 From: "K.P.
