Unless you take the time to figure out how to reconfigure the program, that's its default behaviour. I've been struggling with the Outlook learning curve because I've never used it before. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Jun 2003 18:32:14 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: seven-seas Glasto advice I may well have a GPRS XDA for the festival, which could be a bad thing since I won't really be in a fit state to send coherent msgs. And how that went onto "O" and Rolling Stone, je ne sais pas, guess you're rambling? - -----Original Message----- From: Amy Rupp So can the Vodafone users *borrow* your mobile if they buy you a beer? :-) And can you text me with updates? :-) Oooh now that's one of Stu's pet hates :-) I guess Glastonbury Tor is not near enough the festival site to make a difference, but I *hate* that thing with a passion because it creates a shadow that invariably drops calls. I think they ought to put a great honking antenna atop that one ;-) (just kidding) (sort of) The best things in life begin with an "O." ;-) Like.... "Ocean Rain"! I did notice that the Rolling Stone editors, those bastions (or should it be another "bast" word) of musical critique, gave HUH only two stars but OR four. Readers, however, gave *all* the Bunnymen albums four stars. I wonder when the poll for that was done and how many of y'all voted several times? :-) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Jun 2003 18:33:43 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: seven-seas OT ways to humiliate yerself No chit chat from me, gotta go home - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Amy Rupp Sent: 18 June 2003 18:24 To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: seven-seas OT ways to humiliate yerself > Waving her butt to the whole restaurant including the new fella she'd > taken a liking to. We shall > see.... Incoherent messages are always fun! > Not sure what you're getting at about the Tor???? Just that mobile reception in that one spot is AWFUL; it will nearly always force a call to be dropped. Since I phone into that area often, I know some of the areas where reception is poor. I don't know if the mobile companies are only adding *capacity* (number of calls that can be made) or also adding reception capability (which would mean new antennas). > And how that went onto "O" and Rolling Stone, je ne sais pas, guess > you're rambling? Sorry to be Obscure. I *try* to find something of general interest to put into a post to the list, and I try to transition into that. My point was noticing that the two mobile networks that will work at Glasto are O2 and Orange (both beginning with O), and musing that "O" begins many a fine word. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Jun 2003 12:57:11 -0500 From: "Amy Rupp" Subject: RE: seven-seas FW: More Radiohead shows > Hey Amy, you're always complaining that bands don't come to Texas..... > > Radiohead are! > > > 1st October 2003 > > Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion > > Spring, TX (Houston) This is where Rush played on their last two tours. It should be decent weather since it will have cooled down then (it's actually an ampitheatre with part of it covered seats and part open grassy areas). It's also in a very snooty area with county sheriffs looking to make trouble. Any word on support acts? I did keep my fingers silent when you posted the original set of dates despite the fact that they again skipped so much of the country. I'm glad to see them play Florida, Atlanta, NOLA, and Houston. *Almost* a straight shot down Interstate 10. Hey, Kristin, this is just north of where you are now! ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #465 ********************************
