I'm not a member of VT and can't really keep up with the number of chatty e-mails. Think you will have noticed some latency in my responses. Yes, I know that it's easy to hit the delete button, but on the other hand people don't tend to update the subject titles and I'd hate to miss embedded music content or news in any response. Montrial, Mont Real, M-Real. I think Montrial is a magical place, with beautiful people, great record stores, giant beers, wicked food, killer hash.... Saw The Chameleons (one hell of a band) there last autumn and the large crowd sang along with every word - (football-fan-style). Mark, the singer/bass player, was moved to tears. I remember Mac getting lots of TV there during Mysterio period. It's Europe in North America in a lot of ways. _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 13 Jun 2003 10:52:48 -0500 From: "Amy Rupp" Subject: RE: RE: OTOT seven-seas The Art of Mac aka Mac Art(hur) > "East Anglia" is "not" "the name for Norfolk + Suffolk". > > If anybody ever wants to know anything about anyplace in > England they might > like to ask someone who has at least been within 1,000 miles > of said place. My original information came from a telly football commentator. Suppose talking heads are not to be trusted. Dutifully asked Matt for the definition and he rattled off county after county, but I was driving so couldn't write them down, and the satellite congestion and delay was so bad that it was echoooooooo.... rough definition was "it's the big bump that sticks out." Of course, if I'm wrong, dig away, but post the right answer! ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #447 ********************************
