They filtered down into the states from there. Though those ones Nano posted (or was it you, Red?) were fun to figure out ;-) - --Amy, off to the vending machines to sort lunch; there are frozen White Castles but I refuse to eat those, having had the real thing. I actually got to go out yesterday and have Vietnamese food (yum) PS: I have Reverberation, Flowers and Mysterio pulled out for re-evaluation purposes but haven't been able to give a re-listen. PPS: Trying to listen to all of Matt's recommendations (not the above, but in general) is like trying to drink from a firehose. Filled with scrumpy. I think. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Jun 2003 13:14:26 -0500 From: "Amy Rupp" Subject: RE: seven-seas The Art of Mac aka Mac Art(hur) > >Are your family originally from Quebec down through VT/New Hampster > >to Boston? I've not been able to find any of my ancestors' ports of departure because they either left too early, or in two cases, went to Ontario first and then down into the States. In doing English genealogy via the Web, I've been able to do what would have taken a lifetime before in less than a year. I showed the results to a coworker today (brought in the iBook) and she said: "You typed all that in?" Typing it in was the easiest part! ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Jun 2003 13:22:02 -0500 From: "Amy Rupp" Subject: RE: seven-seas For the Man. If it's any consolation, I also don't know what Matt is on, either ;-) TLB = table lookaside buffer, but I doubt it concerns programming.... perhaps the A is for acronym. Low blood sugar.....must crawl to vending machines now. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Jun 2003 19:26:03 +0100 From: "Matt H" Subject: Re: RE: seven-seas For the Man.
