What's nuts is the suggestion that you were gonna *buy* a precorded CD! ;-) ;-) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Jun 2003 22:01:12 -0500 (CDT) From: Amy Moseley Rupp Subject: Re: seven-seas something to download... > Geez...this really isn't the place for these topics... > I'm sure there's a medical list you could sub to!! This list is *unmoderated*. There is no definition about what we can or cannot talk about. If anyone is uncomfortable with any particular topic I bring up, a polite offlist request will mean I will almost certainly not repeat the offence, and will bring an apology. Pissing at gigs is an okay topic but turn your head and cough is not. We evolve a group definition of acceptableness as we go. - --Amy ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 9 Jun 2003 22:03:39 -0500 (CDT) From: Amy Moseley Rupp Subject: Re: Re: seven-seas something to download... > He's dead Amy that's why they buried him.......??????? I was more than a bit surprised too, but delighted, cos I'd been denied access to my email or the Web all day. Obviously some people had some free time and used it to have a laugh. Good on them. I guess I should have paid attention when you tried to steer the conversation back to the downloads and away from OT, but I didn't post for at least 15 hours which must be a world record. Zap created seven-seas-chat, but there's been a reluctance for people to sub -- yet we do get the occasional delurker on seven-seas when a favourite OT subject comes up. - --Amy ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Jun 2003 00:20:39 -0400 From: Red Subject: Re: seven-seas something to download... Yeah, you're right - I can see the train working fine, I was thinking more of driving being an imposibility.... I had a peak at flights and wasn't too impressed with prices (nor are there many options London -> Liverpool) but Virgin Trains does good fares if booked well in advance, so that seems most feesable. It's my honey's b-day weekend and I'm being a bit selfish dragging him to 'pool for this, but... oh well. :) Anyone know of any nice yet reasonable hotels/B&Bs that I might book to make it up to him?
