I don't want to see Ipswich go bust (obviously) but it hacks me right off as to how they (the board) can get away with over stretching themselves by building not one but two new stands with loads of emphasis on the corporate entertainment side of things and less space for the 'fans'. Well now we aren't in the top flight the corporate knobs aint gonna wanna waste their time watching the likes of Burnley and Norwich at Portman Road (sorry just messin' wid ya ...but you know what I mean). On top of which they go out and spend, sorry waste millions on players who have hardly played for us and we still pay wages to. Like I said earlier power to teams like Norwich who are building their squads the hard and fair way. I would like to see a system introduced over here like the USA college system...I know it aint gonna happen so...... The good news is Wimbledon aka Milton Keynes United have gone into administration.....that's one up to football and it's (true) supporters. I suppose the moral of the tale Tim is life sucks and David Johnson still deserves to be playing premiership football. lol oh yeh you wanna complain look at Pompey and Matt Holland.......750k indeed........4.5 million valued last season. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cardy" To: Sent: Monday, June 09, 2003 4:35 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas OT OT OT OT close season........ > I don't want to sound bitter towards Ipswich...but how unfair is it that a > club that goes into administration can then arrange a deal with their > creditors to pay only 5% of their debt.
