It's a real wrench for me this one.. I really like REM and have seen them a few times going back to the mid 80's, but the last 2 Primal Scream albums have been A1, and they were nothing short of stunning when we last saw them at Leeds. At the moment, I'm leaning towards the Scream .. Sunday night also has Manics Vs Sigur Ros ( no option there methinks !! ) and the following 2 bands are Moby Vs Doves. I think the fact that we will be seeing SR beforehand means that we'll probably end up seeing Doves. But I saw them 3 times last year, and Moby was superb the last time he played Glasto.. Decisions, decisions.. Stu Amy Moseley Rupp wrote: > Talking of acid.. I see Copey is also playing on the Friday.. same as EATB, but I think his set clashes with REM and Primal Scream... FUCK! I'm not sure if Anima will be with them for this show, and if not, it's going to be quite different anyway as they've toured with them for over 2 years now. That being said, I did see them twice before that time when it was just them and that was also excellent. When they supported Radiohead in Oxford, it was mid afternoon and wasn't especially brilliant and I agree that I think their music needs a roof for the best experience. But, they're last but one at Glasto, so the sun will be starting to set, and it's a magical place, so I'm hoping it will be good. I'm sure you all know Blixa has left the band. Well, someone posted this on the Cave list.... According to the account of the Berlin show, at least, James Johnston (Gallon Drunk) WAS there (on Guitar and Hammond). He's toured with them before so it's not a huge surprise, but I think it's good news for those going to see Nick in the next few weeks.
